An interview with Mr. Koyama was published in the electronic edition of the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun.
A history of engineering accomplishments
- Commercialization of phase control circuit and an autofocus control system for medical lighting
* A system that ensures optimal focus by automatically adjusting the illumination focus to the surgical region of interest (deep irradiation is maintained) - A laser-guided control system for medical lighting
Delivered to the primary operating room of the National Institute of Health (NIH)
*A system that guides 24 illuminators to the laser irradiation position. The illuminated regions can be freely manipulated and combined. - Commercialization of an IR tracking system for medical lighting
* A non-magnetic lighting system that guides the illumination device three-dimensionally to the IR irradiated area. - Non-Magnetic Medical Lighting Device
Delivered to the MRI Operating Room, National Cancer Center Hospital
The world’s first illumination device that enables surgery under MRI
The system was later delivered to the Multi-Work Operating Office of Nagoya University School of Medicine - 3D matrix control system for medical lighting
Delivery to the Nagoya University School of Medicine BioClean Room - Commercialization of an Ultra-high color rendering LED medical lighting system
*Ra (Color Rendering Index) of 98 realized. An ultra-high color rendering, multi-reflector LED unit
