[inVIEW] Difference between transmissive and reflective types

inVIEW is an inspection device that uses phase polarization technology. There are two types of lighting devices: transmissive and reflective.

The transmissive-type is a lighting device that is used by placing a resin or lens directly on a flat light source. Lens strain and distortion, resin scratches, and foreign matter contamination that are usually not visible can be made visible with our transmissive-type lighting device.

Our reflective-type devices illuminates objects with a special LED light source. There is no need to worry about the position of the illumination with respect to the object.

Transmissive-type

[Light Source] Flat area light source
[Application] Mainly for checking for scratches and impurities on transparent vinyl, PET bottles, glass, lenses, etc.

Reflective-type

[Light Source] LED
[Application] Mainly for inspection of castings, metal surfaces for scratches, substrate inspection, etc.

For visual inspection
For automatic inspection
